Creative
Lagos, Nigeria
Full-time
Three routes, not one. We need a Copywriter who brings options and gets the references right.
What you'd be doing
Writing a lot, across a lot. Social copy, scripts, articles, decks, email, product copy, whatever the week needs. You'd work under a senior writer and a creative director, and you'd be pitching your own ideas from the first month.
Write social copy and scripts at volume, without the quality dropping by Thursday.
Take a brief and come back with three routes, not one.
Research properly. Get names, facts and cultural references right.
Proofread your own work before anyone else sees it.
Contribute in brainstorms, don't just take notes.
What we're looking for
Two to four years writing professionally. Agency, brand, media or a strong freelance run.
A portfolio with range. Show us something funny and something serious.
Nigerian internet native. You know why a thing is funny without it being explained.
Fast, and organised enough to be fast without losing things.
How we'll assess you
There's a practical test for this role. We'll tell you what it involves when we invite you to it, and you'll get 72 hours so you can fit it around your job. It's built to look like the work, and we never set a test that doubles as free client work.
A 20 minute intro call.
A take-home exercise, around 90 minutes.
An interview built around what you submitted.
A final conversation with the team.
