Lagos, Nigeria
Full-time
The work is only half the job. We need a Senior Account Manager who holds the client, the budget and the timeline without dropping any of them.
What you'd be doing
Holding the client relationship and the work at the same time. You'd run two to four accounts, be the person the client calls first, and make sure what leaves the building is something we'd put our name on. Half the job is knowing the client's business well enough to spot the brief they haven't written yet.
Own day to day client relationships, and be senior enough to have the hard conversation.
Write briefs the creative team can actually use.
Run timelines, budgets, scopes and third party costs. Keep the numbers honest.
Chair status meetings and unblock things before they're a problem.
Spot growth on your accounts and bring it to the client with a point of view.
Manage an executive or two.
What we're looking for
Four to six years in agency account management, at least a year at manager level.
You can brief creatives properly. It's a skill, and not everybody has it.
Numerate. Comfortable in a scope, a budget and a reconciliation.
Calm when a launch moves, and unbothered by a difficult client call.
Written English you don't have to apologise for.
Bonus if you've run influencer or talent campaigns. A lot of our work goes through creators.
How we'll assess you
There's a practical test for this role. We'll tell you what it involves when we invite you to it, and you'll get 72 hours so you can fit it around your job. It's built to look like the work, and we never set a test that doubles as free client work.
A 20 minute intro call.
A written exercise, around 90 minutes.
An interview built around what you submitted, plus a short role play.
A final conversation with the team.
